8 slices of whole grain bread
8 slices of fresh tomato
4 slices of cheddar cheese
4 tbsp mayonnaise
4 tbsp mustard
For the Bento Box:
1 cup cherry tomatoes
1 cup baby carrots
1 cup grapes
1 cup pretzel sticks
Instructions:
Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 7-10 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes, then slice it into thin strips.
While the chicken is cooking, prepare your sandwich components. Place each ingredient (bread, lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayo, mustard) in separate compartments of the bento box.
Once the chicken is cooked and sliced, add it to the bento box as well.
Fill the remaining compartments of the bento box with cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, grapes, and pretzel sticks.
Repeat these steps for each serving.
